OT: Cat Lovers
I just picked up a wonderful book from the library. Cat lovers will love it, and maybe even those whose lives don't revolve around furbabies will think it's pretty good.
The title is DEWEY, by Vicki Myron with Bret Witter.
It lists for $19.99, but I just ordered it from Amazon for $11.99. In fact, I ordered several , and got the Super-Saver, no shipping cost rate.
I guess my Christmas shopping has begun. For me, too, as one of the copies is MINE!!!! This is one book I'll read over and over.

Yes it is. It's a really touching story, and if you're a cat lover like me, it'll really get to you. I spent half the time that I was reading it looking for tissues. But then, I'm a softie when it comes to the furry ones.
What area of NY are you located? I'm south of Buffalo, and Annette is in Ithaca. Never know when I'll be on the road.
Enjoy the book. I just ordered three of them for the cat lovers on my Christmas list.

Candy, thanks for the information. I have a woman at church who think of her furbabies like we do and she has a book and I think that the title is "Things My Cats Have Taught Me About Life". I am not sure who the author is but she used that several times for devotions at a meeting at church. It isn't a God book but a look at life through the eyes of a cat's people. Notice I didn't say a cat's owner since I think.....no I KNOW that Misty owns Bill and I and not the other way around. I want to try to get that book.......or maybe I should say both of them.
